Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration

Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration at St Mary’s is held 24/7 in the Adoration Chapel; a separate building located on church grounds in Barnegat.  Assigned adorers offer one hour a week to be with the Lord to ensure He is never alone, however everyone is welcome to spend time with the Him at any time.

September 2025, we celebrated 28 years of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration at St Mary's! Adoration takes place in the Adoration chapel on church grounds in Barnegat and all are invited to visit. If you are interested in signing on for a weekly hour of Adoration or to be one of our substitutes, the hours listed below are presently open and in need of a weekly Adorer.

Winter is a challenging time for Perpetual Adoration. Besides the obvious difficulties that come with cold weather and illness, some of our Adorers head to warmer climates, which leaves their hours in need of a substitute. Volunteering for a "snowbird hour" can
acquaint you with Adoration and is a big help to maintaining Perpetual Adoration.

Hours open and in need of a weekly Adorer are:
SUNDAY              1am, 2am, 4am, 3pm
MONDAY            1am, 2am, 6pm
TUESDAY             2am, 3am, 6am, 8pm
WEDNESDAY    3am, 5am, 12noon
THURSDAY         4am, 6pm
FRIDAY                 1am, 2am, 4am
SATURDAY         2am, 3am

Always genuflect when you see the Lord in the Host
Maintain an attitude of respect and silence
Always keep in mind that you are in the presence of God!
